Objective
The student knows the important research and development trends and innovations in technology, with their implications to health informatics. The student knows the needs of a population; the future challenges relating to well-being, health and human functioning in order to be able to evaluate the need for technical solutions to promote well-being. The student can structure the future prospectives of health informatics against the national development programs and guidelines in the social services and healthcare. The student can consider the needs and ethical dimensions at a population level in evaluating health informatics solutions and innovations.
