Electrical Design ProjectLaajuus (6 ECTS)

Objective

The student will be able to draw up a project plan and will know how a project is managed. He or she will be able to cooperate and network with associates from other disciplines and communicate appropriately with various interest groups. The student will be familiar with the requirements of project communication and will develop his or her communication skills. The student will become more proficient in electrical design and will be able to evaluate his or her knowledge and skills as a part of a project. The student will be able to acquire and edit information from various sources and to combine previous knowledge with new information. The student is able to convince and give reasons for his or her choices and views as part of a cooperative project.

Content

An extensive electrical design task of a middle-sized building to be completed as a project team.

The student knows the phases of an electrical design project and is able to conduct electrical design according to instructions. He or she is able to work as a project team member.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student knows the phases of an electrical design project and is able to conduct electrical design independently. He or she is able to work as a project team member, and is able to perform other tasks in a project team when instructed.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student knows the phases of an electrical design project and is able to conduct electrical design independently and proficiently. He or she is able to work both as a project team member and in other tasks in a project team.
