Objective

The student will be able to draw a plan for the water supply and sewage system of a day care centre, school or an office building.

Content

System planning, pressure and flow calculation, selecting equipment, planning piping. Planar and sectional drawings, line drawing, equipment lists. Specifications. MagiCAD and CADS software. Software for selecting equipment.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student knows the phases of a planning project. He or she is able to perform calculations and create planning documents including the essential phases, but with some errors and shortcomings. The student needs to be assisted in various steps.

The student understands the phases of a planning project. The student is able to perform calculations and create planning documents including all the essential phases. The student needs to be assisted in some steps. He or she completes assignments on time.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student is familiar with the phases of a planning project. The student is able to perform calculations and create planning documents including all the essential phases, thoroughly and almost without errors. The student needs guidance in the most demanding tasks only. The student is able to give reasons for his or her choices and to provide alternative solutions. The student completes assignments on time.
