2. Sound. The decibel scale, digital sound
3. Electromagnetic waves. Light. EM spectrum
4. Ray optics. Reflection and refraction, Snell’s law, the prism, optical fibres, dispersion
5. Plane and spherical mirrors, image formation
6. Concave and convex lenses. Combinations of lenses. The magnifier, the compound microscope and the camera.
