Objective

The student understands how to establish the project organization and its main tasks. He or she understands the project manager’s tasks and the role as a leader. The student is able to formulate a project plan and the budget. He or she understands the role of resource management and its meaning for timing and financial control. He or she knows the meaning of risk management and is able to react to change situations.

Content

Establishing project organization and its tasks, project plan formulation and follow-up, project phasing, project timing, resource planning and management, budgeting, financial optimization and follow-up, change and risk management.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student understands the context of a project plan and the meaning of its contents for succesful project management. The student understands the project manager's key tasks and responsibilities.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student understands the context of a project plan and the meaning of its contents for succesful project management. The student understands the project manager's key tasks and responsibilities. He/she is active during the course and his/her assignment is well done.
