Objective

After the course students have the basic knowledge of quality- and environmental management systems including the principles of management requirements, auditing and continual improvement. In addition students understand the importance of laboratory quality and quality documents.

After studies students are able to plan, act and evaluate the operation processes as well as the content of quality documents. Students are able to search and deal with information for organization continual improvement purposes.

Content

The principles of quality thinking. Quality management systems (ISO 9000, EFQM), environmental management systems (ISO 14000, EMAS), laboratory quality management system 17025 and internal audits.
