Objective

The student understands that loads create internal forces and couples. The student can calculate the internal forces and couples and present force and moment diagrams. The student is familiar with the solution of three dimensional equilibrium problems.

In kinematics the student learns how to determine the position, velocity and acceleration in plane motion.
