Objective

After completing this course the student knows the notion of quality, customer centred approach in defining "quality", responsibility of management and participation of personnel in producing quality, the tasks of quality departments and the statistical nature of quality.
The student knows the most important quality tools, Six Sigma, statistical quality control and the principles of quality systems.
The student understands the importance of quality to lean-philosophy and ongoing improvement.
The student understands the notion of measuring error and the importance of calibration in achieving comparable data

2. The student knows the most important quality tools, principles of quality systems, the importance of quality to lean-philosophy and continuous improvement and knows the notion of measuring error and uncertainty of measuring
