Objective

The student learns the possibilities and limits of computer in control and measurement applications.
The student learns to use C and C++ languages and open source libraries in control applications.
The student learns to select components to technical applications.

Content

1. Using C and C++ languages in technical applications.
2. Using Qt and Qwt in technical applications.
3. Using Ads communication between Twincat and Qt application.
4. CANopen and Modbus communication.
5. Exercises.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

1. 50% of exercises have been done. Basic knowledge of software development.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

1. 70% of exercises have been done. Basic knowledge of software development.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

1. 95 % of exercises have been done. The student has excellent knowledge of software development.
