Objective
The student recognizes when an embedded system is needed to solve a problem. Also she/he understands when a tailor made system is needed and when best solution is to select a ready component.
The student has knowledge to select between a micro controller and an embedded computer.
The student understands the needs of data transmission and networks between sub systems.

1. Basics of embedded systems.
2. Comparing of open and closed systems.
3. Data transmission with CAN
4. C an C++ languages in embedded systems.
5. Operating systems in embedded systems.
