Upon completion of the course
The student knows a company's internal logistics, warehousing, functioning procedures and organizing principles
The student is able to devise a plan for efficient internal logistics
The student knows the principles and philosophy of production control
The student is able to devise plans for efficient use of production capacity.
The student has a capacity to develop production control systems

Content

1. Content 1

Meaning of efficient warehousing, delivery, and processing in business as well as knowing the machines, equipment and software. Good practical knowledge of operating principles

2. Content 2
Meaning of production control and production control systems. Factors affecting control and the ability to control

3. Content 3
Flow of production, minimizing set-up times. Eliminating unnecessary work, eliminating error factors in production. Fitting production and procedures together.

The student understands the meaning of set-up times, unnecessary work for capacity, span time of process, work-in process

The student understands the functioning principles of warehousing, deliveries and their meaning for efficient business. S/he knows how to use specialized terminology

Criteria for content 2:
The student knows various organizing principles for production control and understands their potential. H/she is able to choose the correct line of approach

The student understands the meaning of set-up times, unnecessary work for capacity, span time of process, work-in process
