The student knows how to use equations of motion when analyzing rotation of a rigid body.

The student can take friction into account in dynamics problems.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student knows how to use equations of motion when analyzing general plane motion of a rigid body.

The student can determine accelerations of members of simple mechanisms.
