English Communication Skills for Electronics EngineeringLaajuus (3 ECTS)

Objective

At completion of the course the student will be familiar with the vocabulary of Electronics Engineering and will understand the main content of texts associated with the field. The student will be able to acquire field-specific information from English sources and evaluate their reliability. The student will have an adequate knowledge of formal and technical writing to compose enquiries, offers, orders and letters of complaint within his or her own field. The student will be able to deal with work-related communication situations. The student will be able to describe field-specific products, production processes and work flows and deliver an associated product presentation.
