Objective

On completion of the course the student has basic knowledge of simulation methods and their applicability to simulate real life phenomena. The student is able to design and implement an event-driven simulator.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student is able to write a simple discrete event-driven simulation.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student is able to write an event-driven simulation with several sevice nodes, which produces average data as output.
The student knows the problematics of the validation and the verification of the simulator.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student is able to implement a simulator with several service nodes injecting the confidence interval examination and experimentation techniques to achieve valid results.
