Objective

The goal is to post a working application to Windows Marketplace.

Content

The course includes contact lessons and a project that has to be returned in the end of the course.

In the beginning of the course there will be some lectures covering general application development topics and how to release your application. Main part of the course is actual application development, which is done in project groups.

Qualifications

Basic knowledge of object-oriented programming languages, data management and web development. It would be good if you have some experience or knowledge about C#, XAML, Visual Studio 2010 but it is not necessary. Also if you have some UI designing skills you are more than welcome, since the best group will consist students with skills from different areas.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The course won’t have any exams so the evaluation will be based on the project and class attendance. To pass the course you have to participate 80% of the classes and submit a working project.
