Osaamistavoitteet

The student will know the basic properties of digital signal processing systems and he/she can analyze existing signal processing systems. The student is able to use basic signal processing tools for analyzing and modifying existing digital signal processing systems.

Sisältö

Basics of Digital Signal Processing: discrete signals and their properties, properties of sampled linear systems, flow diagram, difference equation, convolution analysis of linear sampled systems: transfer function, impulse responce, frequency responce, z-transform, poles and zeroes.
Additional content: Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT), basic audio signal processing
