Objective

The student understands the structure and operation of digital TV systems, mobile TV systems and digital radio systems. The student knows the video and audio standards and formats used in these systems and understands their applications.

Content

Formation of digital still and video images, image definitions. Video and audio formats and standards in digital-TV, high definition TV and mobile-TV systems. Video transmission using various digital video bradcasting standards. Applications in digital-TV and mobile-TV.
