Understanding basics of Anroid programming.

Content

The programming language for this course is Java.

This course is a basic level of Android OS designed to prepare a student to be able to understand and develop applications in Android OS. At the end of this course, the student should be able to create Android applications and join the growing list of Android third party developers.

The course includes 10 theory chapters, multiple choice questions and lab assignments.

Qualifications

Android applications are written in Java programming language, but this course does not instruct students how to program in Java, hence a student is expected to have at least a basic knowledge of Java programming.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

All programming assignments have to be solved so that the checking system of Viope accepts them to be correct.
All multiple choice quizzes must be answered.
Online feedback questionnaire must be answered and returned.
