Objective

After completing this course student understands importance of error control for high quality digital transmission. He/she also understands how much improvement can be achieved with various error control schemes.

After completing this course student is able to choose error correction method considering application requirements. He/she can also design some linear block codes and cyclic codes using combination logic and shift registers.

Performance of error control methods and residual error rate
