Objective

To learn to do physical measurements, to estimate the accuracy of the results and to write standard reports. To learn to use various measuring equipment in different physical and technical applications. To depelop skills in working small groups.

Content

Develop understanding of the measurement process and its unavoidable uncertainties. Familiarize oneself with standard laboratory instruments. Learn about data analysis techniques and tools. Develop skills in writing formal laboratory reports. Main subjects: mechanics and thermal physics.
