XML and Other Meta LanguagesLaajuus (3 ECTS)

Objective

The goal is to know what the XML is and how and when to use it. The course participant will be familiar with other meta languages such as BNF and data dictionaries.

Content

The syntax of XML. DTD and schema. Namespaces in XML. A style definitions using XSL. The APIs for a programmer: SAX and DOM. BNF and data dictionaries.
