Objective

The student understands the major principles and concepts of industrial engineering and management as well as industrial economics. The students have capability to apply the principles in software operations and firms.

Content

Evaluations of profitable and cost effective solutions ( e.g. benefits realization, tradeoff analysis, cost analysis, return on investment, prioritization, risk resolution, controlling costs, etc.).
Understanding of the system value and value considerations throughout the software lifecycle (e.g participatory design, stakeholder win-ewin, quality function deployment, prototyping, etc.)
