Objective

The goal is to know the key concepts related to the Symbian operating system. The participant is able write a simple C++ program and compile it to the emulator and to the target machine.

Content

The Symbian operating system. The basic structure of a Symbian program. Naming conventions. Memory management, clean-up stack and leaving. Descriptors. Resources. The GUI framework. Dynamic arrays. Graphics controls.
