Student gains ability to configure and set-up Windows Application Infrastructure

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Configuring services
- the student understands what a disk image stands for, and he/she is capable of setting it up with the instructor's help using WDS service;
- the student understands what activation means and it capable of configuring it with the instructor's help;
- the student understands what high usability means;
- the student knows what a Hyper-V and a Virtual Machine mean and he/she is capable of configuring them with the instructor's help.

Setting up remote desktop services
- the student understands what remote desktop service stands for and is capable of configuring it to make it work with the instructor's help;
- the student understands what a RemoteApp stands for and he/she is capable of configuring to work using a remote desktop with the instructor's help;
- the student knows what Desktop Connection Broker stands for and he/she is capable of setting it up to make it work with the instructor's help.

Setting up and configuring web services
- the student knows what IIS service stands for and he/she is capable of configuring it to make it work with the instructor's help;
- the student understands what web applications are and he/she is capable of configuring single applications to make them work with the instructor's help;
- the student understands what SSL encryption stands for and he/she is capable of configuring it to make it work with the instructor's help.

Configuring network applications
- the student knows what secure Streaming Media service stands for and he/she is capable of setting it up to make it work;
- the student understands what secure Streaming media service stands for;
- the student knows what SharePoint stands for and he/she is capable of configuring SharePoint Foundation options for SharePoint;
