Frequency Converter Laboratory PracticeLaajuus (3 ECTS)

Objective

After completion of the course the student is able to analyze a frequency converter drive. The student can use the instruments and oscilloscope for measuring electrical quantities. The student understands whether the results of the measurements are relevant or not.

After completion of the course the student is able to design a measuring arrangement and on the basis of measurements to assess whether the frequency converter drive is working as it is supposed to be working.

The student presents the measurement results in his/her laboratory report. After completion of the course the student will be able to produce a logical report.

The student will give a presentation in a seminar on their chosen topic.

The contents and the assessment criteria of the course may be different depending on the teacher of the course.

1. The student is able to aided design a measurement arrangement, which he/she can use to measure the electrical quantities
