Objective

Controlled rectifiers, DC choppers and inverters and control of them. Scalar, vector and direct torque control of frequency converters, cycloconverters and servo drives.

Content

The aim is that the student will be able to understand the structure and the working principles of controlled rectifiers and inverters. Student will know the applications.
