Objective

The students can compare solubility of polar and nonpolar compounds and can compare properties of acids and bases and can calculate the pH for acid and base solutions.
The students can give reasons for spontaniety in electrochemical reactions.
The students will understand the basic of chemistry and can apply them in their own professional field.

Structure of matter, amount of substance, solubility, acids and basics, pH, electrochemistry, corrosion, voltage sources, electrolysis, batteries, environmental aspect, sustainable development.
