- 3 ECTS
Objective
The student knows the frequency converter software structure and how the functionality is divided in motor control and user applications. The student is able to do the basic software loading and parameter settings required during frequency converter commissioning.
The student knows the operation principle and performance differences of scalar, vector and direct torque control.
The student knows the terminology used in parametrization and can search the parameters for application adjustments from the frequency converter manuals and is able to do the application parameter settings for drive control and protection functions.
The contents and the assessment criteria of the course may be different depending on the teacher of the course.
