Objective
After completion of this course the student is able to apply the equation of the electromagnetic induction. The student is able explain the fundamental reason for eddy currents. He/she is able to calculate the energy of a magnetic field. The student is able to solve electric resonant circuits and is familiar with the Maxwell equations. The student knows the basic concepts of electromagnetic waves. He/she is able to apply reflection and refraction laws and the lattice equation. The student is able to apply the interference phenomenon to thin films and is familiar with the concept of polarization.

4. Optics.
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
1. The student is able to apply the Faraday induction law.
2. The student is able to apply the reflection and refraction laws.
3. The student is able to solve problems related to the polarization of light.
