Objective

After completing this course student will be able to describe noxious substances in soil, their emanating and acting in soil and will be able to conduct a risk analysis. The student will be able to describe the investigation, management and renovation of contaminated soil. The student will be able to describe the reconstruction of old landfills and plan groundwater protection on the road area. He or she will be familiar with the requirements of the legislation for protecting the environment.

The student is able to describe noxious substances in soil, and how they emanate and act in the soil. The student is able to describe the investigation, management and renovation of contaminated soil. The student will be able to describe the reconstruction of old landfills.

The student is able to apply the above listed, learned knowledge and skills independently.

The student is able to give reasons for his or her choices related to the course contents in a comprehensive manner.
