Objective

The student knows he material properties of timber and bricks. The student comprehends the time dependent behaviour of timber. The student understands the co-behaviour of mortar and bricks.

The student is able to perform the ULS and SLS analysis of common timber beam and column. The student is able to calculate simple nailed connection.
The student is able to check the capacity of brick wall
