Objective

Studies in Swedish for Civil Engineering aim to such skills in Swedish as to allow the student to operate in the corporate environment. The skills include oral interaction, ability to acquire information from texts in Swedish and produce work-related texts. Studies support the student to gain a realistic view of his/her own language skills and the ability to improve his/her skills through self study.

Studies in engineering. Looking for positions in the field, available careers, personal career plans. Industry and corporate work environment: work, duties, organisation; products, operations.
Companies and company presentations, telephone calls, meetings, small talk.
Terminology and texts of the field of Civil Engineering.
Written communication such as short messages, letters, reports.
