Surveying TechniquesLaajuus (3 ECTS)

Objective

The objective is to teach the student to understand surveying and soil maps, to understand surveying coordinates and height measurements and to measure distance, angle and height differences with a tacheometer. During the course the student will learn to use the levelling instruments and tacheometer.

Content

Geodetic coordinates in building measurement. Levelling instrument and electronic tacheometer use in building measurements. Structural position measurements using the tacheometer and mapping. Accuracy and tolerance of tacheometer measurements.
