Objective

The student will get a broad understanding of a building both in terms of structure and function. Also architectural views will be handled. The student will be familiar with general foundation methods, building frameworks, cladding and roofing and will learn their usage in various circumstances.

Content

The course will teach the student to understand types of foundations, including their excavations, moisture and frost insulation requirements, different structural framework types and their exterior surface materials, roof types and materials, and understand the use of warmth, water, moisture,sound and fire insulation requirements and materials including structure ventilation.
