Objective

The student is expected to know
- the common targets of occupational health and safety and the legislation and is able to apply these to the branch of materials and surface treatment technology
- the mechanical, chemical, physical, physiological, mental and social risk factors and methods to reduce or eliminate the effect of these factors
- the common safety risks in surface treatment technology

The student is expected to be able to perform the risk analysis in the work place and to prepare safety instructions for surface treatment chemical and equipments. The student can do the emergengy notice
