Objective

The student can present how colours are composed and how they affect people. He or she can design colours appropriately for facades and interiors and affect the impression of environments. The student is able to present the common colour models (NCS, Lab, LCh, CMC, CMYK, RGB). He or she is able to distinguish between styles from different eras in building, furnishing and furniture.

The student can carry out toning and measure colours (Lab) and colour differences.

1. The student can describe how colours are formed and apply the concepts of colours.
2. The student can define the starting points of colours design.
3. The student can define the toning systems.
4. The student can name the common colour models.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

1. The student is able to distinguish between styles from different eras in building, furnishing and furniture.
2. The student can carry out toning.
3. The student can measure colours (Lab) and colour differences.
4. The student can describe the common colour models.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

1. The student can design colours appropriately for facades and interiors and affect the impression of environments.
