Objective

The student will be familiarized with projects of developing a municipality. He or she will understand the significance of land policy. The student will be familiarized with the far-reaching effects of a municipality and will be able to describe the events.

Views to develop a municipal centre; land policy; industrial policy; regional policy in Finland; sustainable development; topical issues; following topical issues in media and understanding their meaning for municipalities
