Technical Documentation: CADLaajuus (3 ECTS)

Objective

The student will know the central rules of scaled 2D views and virtual 3D models after having performed and study module. The student is familiar with the significance of the standards in the compilation of drawings and diagrams. He/she knows the CAd technology and its special characteristics.
The student is able to interpet the information transmitted by existing documents. The student is also able to create and document flow charts and schemes utilizing the CAD. He/she knows the basic rules of the use of standard drawing signs in the diagrans.

Content

Scaled technical drawings like 2D orthogonal views of mechanical devices and layout drawings, Schematic drawings to present the functionality of processes and instrumentations. The drawings follow the most central standards. Compilationof the docuetns will be carried out by means of CAD programs. Creations of a 3D virtual model with database for ine process plant with devices and piping. This will be comoleted on the basis of the process and instrumentation schmes.
