Osaamistavoitteet

The objective of the WORKING in International Operations course is to develop awareness in the student on the relevance of inter-cultural understanding and communication and working methods and conflict negotiations in the field of working on international projects and international business. To achieve the objective, the course will also discuss specific subjects relevant to the success factors of international business against the backdrop of multi-cultural awareness.

Course is part of the Technology Business Module.

The course will be centred around a core collection of main on-job issues, from which it will develop to encompass a general exposure to selected important geographical market areas. The core subjects are designed as an introduction to the main topics relevant to the conduct of international business, whereas the selected geographical areas are intended to provide an overview of different regions which are targets (Your Action Plan or Doing Business with)of international business.

Esitietovaatimukset

The course will use English as the medium of instruction and assessment. A good working knowledge of English is essential for participating in the module.
