Objective

The student knows the principle of electromagnetic induction and its meaning and the most important applications in technology. The student knows the generation mechanisms of oscillations and is able to apply them in automotive technology.

Content

Electromagnetic induction and its applications. Mechanical oscillations and waves. Electric oscillation circuit, Maxwell's equations and electromagnetic waves.
Spectrum of electromagnetic radiation. Total reflection of light and optical fibres.
