Objective

The student knows the fundamentals of the system of physical units and is able to perform the conversion between different units. She/he is able to interpret graphical representations and make them herself/himself. The student knows the kinematics and the fundamental laws of dynamics for translational and circular motion and is able to apply them to simple practical situations.

Content

Quantities, units and conversion of units. Translational motion and circular motion. Dynamics of motion: force, linear momentum, energy, work and power.
Curvilinear and relative motion. Demanding applications related to the dynamics of motion.
