Objective

The studies help the student to gain such skills in English as to allow him/her to acquire information from texts in English and operate professionally in his/her position with clients and colleagues.
The student understands and is able to produce the documents needed in a job application process. The student is able to communicate about his/her competencies and is familiar with business practices and terminology.

Content

- English key grammatical structures
- Language and interaction for career planning and recruitment, writing a CV, job application process
- Work placement, student exchange, partnership institutes abroad
- Terminology and texts in the field of transport engineering
- Corporate work, industrial and business environments and relevant texts
- Oral interaction practice: company presentations, telephone calls, oral reporting
- Written documentation: short messages, letters.

Qualifications

The prerequisite for this course is a completed course in English for Automotive Engineering 1 or equivalent.
