Objective

Good knowledge of the engine sub systems. After the course the students know origin of the exhaust emissions their reduction inside of the engines and post processing.

Content

Lubrication system, oil and air filtration, cooling system, air conditioning, exhaust system, emission legislation, emission component and their origin, exhaust emission post processing, alternative fuels, alternative power train and energy storage.
