Objective

Student get acquainted areas of logistics and their meaning of business. Student understands material flow of purchase, production and supply chain management and entirety of money and information flow and student is able to develop them. Student assumes added value of supply chain and know how to estimate logistics cost.

Content

Modern logistics, warehouse control logistics, order control logistics, production logistics, service logistics, supply chain, measure effectiveness and accuracy of logistics, logistics and business management, way of thinking process, purchase management, customer meaning in logistics, e-commerce as challenge, organizing logistics and develop logistics strategy

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

1. The student is able to name the basic logistics flows, and various logistical phenomena and their behavior.
2. The student is able to calculate the inventory figures, and to know their place in business.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

1. Student is able to tell basic flows behavior and how to add value to the customer logistics flows are controlled and how the book and for which indicators will be used.

2. And know what the operational control means.

1. Student is able to assess the logistics of the basic costs of generation and supply chain principles guiding.
