Objective
Upon completion of this course the student knows the types of spring suspensions and vibration dampers used in various vehicles and how they can be matched to the requirements of vehicles and how to dimension them mathematically

The student is familiar with the basic principles of suspension springs, dampers and mechanical vibrations and is aware of the most commonly used structural solutions for vehicles.

The student will have a good command of the basic principles of suspension springs, dampers and mechanical vibrations and is aware of the most commonly used structural solutions in vehicles, understands how they work and is able to explain their effects on the functioning of the vehicle.
