Objective

The student masters the basic measurements of vehicles’ electric and electronic systems and the use of diagnostics equipment.

Content

- different tools for studying analogical and digital systems
- car manufacturer’s special tools
- using oscilloscope as a tool for diagnosing

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

1. The student has basic knowledge of using measuring equipment in diagnostics and the structure of vehicle electronic and electric systems.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

1. The student is familiar with the use of the diagnostics equipment and can use them to spot common faults in a vehicle.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

1. The student is very familiar with the use of the diagnostics equipment and can use them to spot complex faults in a vehicle.
