Objective

After completing this course the student will be able to dimension screw joints, welding joints and soldering joints, adhesive couplings, wedge- and shrink-fits, and dimension springs for static loads.

Can apply basic knowledge more broadly and calculate loads for a statically undefined structure

Can also apply knowledge from other fields and uses own judgement when assessing examples which cannot be calculated exactly.
