Objective

The student will understand
- the posibilities how to use spreadsheets in business
- basic principles of designing databases
- basic information of distributed computing

The main aim of the course is to give students practical experience needed to make use of spreadsheets and data warehousing in analyzing information, use of databases, and building information system.

Content

Addvanced features of spreadsheet
- analyzing data and using functions,
- using reports in spreadsheets and databases.
Database software
- understand the fundamentals and implementation of databases to firms
- describe the business process and the logical flow of data within an information system
- importing, exportin or reporting information of different data sources
