Basic Russian ILaajuus (3 ECTS)

Objective

The student is able to read and write using the cyrillic alphabet. He or she manages simple communication, is able to pose questions and answer them in situations of service , and to introduce him- or herself. The student learns about Russian culture and the typical ways of communicating and reacting, as well as amasses vocabulary central to these situations.

The student has command of some of the basic elements of the grammar.

Content

The student gets practice in the cyrillic alphabet and the structures of the Russian language, pronunciation and listening comprehension, and participates in communicative excercises as well as working in pairs and groups.
