Professional Development Project: Functional ClothingLaajuus (9 ECTS)

Objective

The students know how to design a collection and coordinate it to a commercial whole. They can take into notice the demands of materials and clothing physiology for functional clothing. They can take responsibility of the results and products as a member of a team.

Content

- Designing a collection of active sport garments,
- Layered clothing as a performance-enhancing factor,
- Getting more detailed information about clothing physiology and becoming familiar with functional materials,
- Instructing collection models in cooperation with companies.

Depending on the possibilities, the student can choose his/her professional profiling path in the project. When the teams are put together, the size and structure of the teams are also taken into notice.
